Dynamic Characteristics of the Melts of Polyvalent Metals

Abstract: The values of the sound velocity and isothermal compressibility are obtained from calculations of phonon spectra in the melts of polyvalent metals. An alternative approach is proposed for calculations of the sound velocity, based on application of data on the melt structure.
