Abstract: Based on a series of experimental data, a one-parameter description of the temperature–pressure dependence of the effective thermal conductivity of granites is proposed as a function of its value at one fixed temperature and atmospheric pressure. The proposed description agrees quite well with experimental data in a fairly wide temperature-baric range with no irreversible changes in the samples as a result of thermobaric exposure.
