Abstract:
In this article, using the known experimental values of the wetting angles, the surface energies of tungsten and rhenium in the solid state, and the surface energy of liquid tin, the interfacial energies of solid refractory metals at the interface with liquid tin are calculated as functions of temperature. It is shown that taking into account the temperature at which the wetting angle formed by tin on the surfaces of solid metals is measured makes a significant contribution to the interfacial energies of contacting solid-liquid systems.
