Abstract:
The features of flow and heat transfer under natural thermogravitational air convection in a square area with two identical symmetrically located horizontal baffles are studied. The cavity is heated from below by a constant uniform heat flux, the upper wall is isothermal, and the horizontal walls and baffles are adiabatic. The computational experiment method reveals the dependences of the temperature fields and flow fields on the dimensions of the baffles and the values of the Grashof criterion.
