Estimations of the necessary sample size in problems of statistical classification. II

I. N. Volodin

Abstract: This is a continuation of article [8]. The notion of approaching populations is introduced and asymptotic behaviour of some fixed sample size procedure's strength is investigated when populations approach and sample size increases simultaneously. Some asymptotic formulas and bounds for sample size necessary for classification with quaranteed strength are drawn. The asymptotical efficiency of a fixed sample size procedures with reference to lower bounds for expected sample size is investigated.
