On the distribution of the size of an epidemicin a non-Markovian model

Abstract: Exact and asymptotic distributions are obtained for the size of an epidemic spreading in a closed uniformly mixing population when the periods of communication of infected individuals and the immunity levels of susceptible ones are specified by independent random variables under various assumptions on their distributions.
