An investigation of systems of coupled-mode equations with small random disturbances

Abstract: Two systems of coupled-mode equations which arise in applications are considered. The asymptotic behaviour of the fundamental matrix is studied. Explicit approximate formulas for the elements of the matrix reflection coefficient with necessary estimates are derived. In the case when the considered system is a system of telegraph equations, groups are described which support the distribution of the fundamental matrix.
