Abstract:
Using inequalities for the correlation functions derived in an earlier paper [1] [Phys. Lett.,
29A, 40 (1965)] we obtain a new inequality for the specific heat at constant magnetization
$C_M$. Combining this inequality with the Rushbrooke–Griffiths inequality, the results deduced
from scaling laws, and the condition of thermodynamic stability in Tiszats formulation,
one can draw definite conclusions about the nature of the phase transition.
