Example of the application of parastatistics for nucleon pairs in nuclear shells

Abstract: It is shown that in the Cusson model, in which the states of nucleon pairs in nuclei are considered on the basis of parastatistics, all the states can be related to irreducible representations of parastatistics. A Klein transformation reduces the problem to a many-body problem with the usual Fermi statistics and “particles” possessing internal degrees of freedom and “spin” spectrum O, 2, 4 . . . . .
