Vector dominance and decrease of the differential cross section of lepton-pair production at high energies and large scattering angles

Abstract: Under the assumption of vector dominance, analyticity, and unitarity it is shown that the differential cross section of lepton-pair production decreases with increasing energy at large scattering angles.
