Elementary excitations in one-dimensional systems with resonance interaction

Abstract: A unified approach that employs a Fermi representation of the Pauli operators is used to study various problems relating to the equilibrium properties and dynamics of elementary excitations corresponding to the exciton region of the spectrum of one-dimensional molecular chains.
