Abstract:
A variant of perturbation theory is constructed for calculating the level shifts and
transition probabilities in a relativistic two-electron atom with allowance for
renormalization of the mass and charge of the electrons and with the possibility of
considering degenerate states. The corrections for retardation in the second order
in $\alpha$ are analyzed.
