Abstract:
By means of the Delbourgo representation for the three-gIuon vertex function as solution of the Slavnov–Taylor identity, the Dyson–Schwinger equation is reduced to a linear integral equation for the spectral density of the gluon propagator. Transition to the light-like ($n^2=0$) gauge yields the explicit form of the equation, and it is shown that its solution has the same behavior in both the ultraviolet and the infrared region.
