Energy–momentum tensor of a causally disconnected region of the Universe, the cosmological constant, and the inflationary model

Abstract: We continue studying the phenomenological model in which dark energy in the form of the cosmological constant is identified with the mean of the energy–momentum tensor of the causally disconnected region. We completely define the time-dependent model parameter and clarify its physical meaning. We find the scalar field potential corresponding to the proposed approach. We show that two stages of superfast expansion of the Universe existed. The Universe heating stage occurred naturally due to the positive definiteness requirement for the energy and is reflected in the obtained scalar field potential.

Keywords: cosmological constant, inflationary expansion, scalar field.
