Antisymmetric tensor fields and the Weyl gauge theory

Abstract: A spinor current source is found in the Weyl non-Abelian gauge theory that does not contain an abstract gauge space. It is shown that the corresponding spinor representation of the Weyl gauge group can be constructed in the space of antisymmetric tensor fields and as a $16$-component quantity for which a gauge-invariant Lagrangian is determined. The connection between the Weyl gauge potential and the Cartan torsion, field and the problem of the possible manifestation of the considered interactions, are discussed.
