Gyroscopic stabilization of nonlinear and non-conservative systems

Abstract:
Problem of gyroscopic stabilization for mechanical systems with non-conservative positional forces is considered. Class of nonlinear potential systems is revealed, for which problem gyrostabilization is solvable.
