Abstract: The paper considers such nonlinear phenomena in condensed matter physics as discrete breezers and delocalized nonlinear vibrational modes. The properties of delocalized nonlinear vibrational modes and discrete breezers are described, the relationship between them and their influence on the macroscopic properties of model nonlinear lattices and crystals are analyzed using computer modeling methods. A phenomenon such as the manifestation of modulation instability of delocalized nonlinear oscillatory modes, leading to the excitation of chaotic discrete breezers, has also been studied.
