Usage of modern computer aided technologies for knowledge formation in mathematics

Abstract: The article describes the approach to computer aided teaching of mathematics on the basis of modern information technologies. The approach is oriented on teaching students majoring in economics, engineering and management. Along with using application programs for helping students to learn theoretical foundations, significant attention is devoted to teaching students to solve standard mathematical problems. Suggested approach is illustrated with examples of problems solving by using MS Office Excel.
