On Einstein hermitian surfaces

Abstract: We show that every compact Einstein Hermitian surface with constant conformal scalar curvature is a Kahler surface and that, in contrast to the compact case, there exits a noncompact Einstein Hermitian and non-Kahler surface with constant conformal scalar curvature.
