Globally hyperbolic Lorentzian spaces with special holonomy groups

Abstract: We prove that each special Lorentzian holonomy group (with the exception of those including the isotropy groups of Kähler symmetric spaces) can be realized as the holonomy group of a globally hyperbolic Lorentzian manifold.
