The Neumann stability of high-order symmetric schemes for convection-diffusion problems

Abstract: We find a series of sufficient conditions for the Neumann stability of the leapfrog-Euler scheme of arbitrary even order in the spatial coordinates for the three-dimensional convection-diffusion equation.
