Resonance scattering in quantum wave guides

Abstract: The interaction of a quantum wave guide with a resonator is studied within the frame of the Birman–Kato scattering theory. The existence of poles of the scattering matrix is proved and the jump of the scattering amplitude near a resonance is calculated.
