On general boundary value problems for differential equations with constant coefficients in a half-space

Abstract: Exact classes of uniqueness of the solutions are indicated for general boundary value problems in a half-space. Algebraic conditions sufficient for these problems to be well posed in classes much broader than those considered heretofore are adduced. The results are applied to the study of a mixed problem in a quarter-space in classes of increasing functions.
