Periodic wavelets

Abstract: Definitions of multiresolution analysis and wavelet decomposition for a wide range of quasi-Banach spaces of periodic distributions are suggested. Elementary properties of such MRAs are investigated. Economical algorithms of wavelet decomposition and reconstruction are presented.
