Periodic solutions of a quasilinear wave equation with variable coefficients

Abstract: The existence of time-periodic solutions of the quasilinear equation describing the vibrations of an inhomogeneous string with homogeneous boundary conditions of the 3rd kind is proved. The non-linear term in the equation satisfies the non-resonance condition or has power-like growth.
