Abstract: We propose a new approach to finding the entry times for seismic waves in connection with solving the problem of the active geophysical monitoring of the natural environment. The efficiency of this approach is illustrated by some numerical experiments and the example of solving the model problem of the monitoring of the sounding of the borehole source location in oil and gas drilling.
