Abstract: We study the numerical solution of a coefficient inverse problem for a parabolic equation. Boundary value problems with nonlocal (integral) boundary conditions are reduced to such a problem. We propose an approach to the solution of the problem that bases on the method of lines. The results of numerical experiments on test problems are given.
