Diurnal dynamics of the atmospheric electric field in a turbulent-convective surface layer

Abstract: Mathematical modeling of the atmospheric electrical state in the electrode effect approximation is carried out. The dynamics of the electrode layer characteristics is studied using the equation for the total electric current, taking into account the simultaneous local mechanisms action of turbulent and convective transport. The effects of time and amplitude dependences of the electric field diurnal variation in the surface layer on the intensity of turbulent and convective transport have been established.
