Abstract:
SSR genetic markers serve as invaluable tools for elucidating population genetic structures. Attempts are being made to build an SSR fingerprinting database on their basis to provide support for similar screening of plants for species or varieties. In this study, using different species of medicinal flora (M. piperíta, M. longofolia, P. májor, S. glutinosa, A. ursnium, T. officionale), we tried to select a set of SSR markers for genotyping with high specificity and polymorphism, suitable for agarose gel electrophoresis. It was found that the interspecific genetic distance was very high compared to the intraspecific genetic distance in 6 plant species. Of the selected 6 primer pairs, 4 gave 99.91
