Abstract:
The possibilities in the use of polyfunctional components in polymerisation systems are surveyed and analysed in the present review. The kinetics and mechanisms of the chemical reactions of polyfunctional monomers, initiators, emulsifying agents, and modified reactive fillers in radical polymerisation are examined. The kinetics and mechanism of polymerisation in systems with polyfunctional emulsifying agents or modified fillers are considered from the standpoint of considering them as locally organised systems with a regulated distribution of components. A classification of polyfunctional components based on the available data is proposed. The bibliography includes 90 references.
