Catalytic reactions of dialkyl disulfides

Abstract: The results of studies on the catalytic conversion on dialkyl disulfides (Alk${} = {}$C$_1$–C$_4$) are summarized and described systematically. The decomposition, cyclization, hydrogenolysis, oxidation and thioalkylation reactions are considered. The results of reactions are compared depending on the catalyst nature and reaction conditions.
