β-Telluroacroleins and tellurovinyl ketones: synthesis, reactions and structures

Abstract: The published data on the synthesis, reactions and structures of novel organotellurium synthones, viz., β-tellurovinylcarbonyl compounds, are systematised and generalised. Special attention is given to the use of these compounds in the synthesis of tellurium-containing heterocycles. The bibliography includes 57 references.
