Supramolecular metal complex systems based on crown-substituted tetrapyrroles

Abstract: The characteristic features of the structures and properties of crown-substituted porphyrinates and phthalocyaninates are considered. Interactions of these compounds with alkali metal salts yield supramolecular ensembles. The factors determining the architecture of such ensembles are described.
