Abstract:
The present state of the problem of catalysis by cluster and polynuclear transition metal complexes attached to the surfaces of mineral and organic polymers is analysed. The principal methods of preparation of heterogenised clusters and the possible ways of transforming them on the surfaces of carriers are examined and the influence of the nuclearity of the clusters on the catalytic activity and selectivity in the conversion of CO is discussed. The prospects for the employment of immobilised clusters in catalysis are considered. The bibliography includes 166 references.
