Abstract:
The principal problems arising in the study of tin-containing homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts by Mössbauer spectroscopy are reviewed. The information provided by the parameters of the method, among which special attention has been devoted to the probability of the resonance absorption of γ-quanta by the specimen and its temperature variation, is analysed. The principal results obtained in the study of the structure and properties of various tin-containing catalysts are surveyed. The bibliography includes 91 references.
