Abstract:
The results of structural and theoretical studies on cluster compounds with a framework in the form of a triangle made up of metal atoms are examined, a systematic account is given of the types of three-membered metallocycles in which the number of electrons is different from the "magic" number, and the causes of their stability are analysed. The influence of the ligand shell and of the formation of multiple bonds on the stability of three-membered metallocycles is demonstrated. The bibliography includes 169 references.
