Abstract:
Molecular oxygen forms complexes with organic molecules. Evidence for such complex formation and its manifestations are described and criteria are formulated whereby one can distinguish the usual equilibrium complexes from impact (collision) complexes. The principal types of complexes and the electron orbitals with the aid of which the species combined in the complex come into contact are examined. The bibliography includes 30 references.
