Abstract:
The reversible non-stationary nature of the solid surface in branched-chain processes (BCP), which is one of the most important factors determining the regular features of chemical reactions of this class, has been demonstrated. The general regular features of non-thermal BCP which have been observed in the last 10–12 years and which are determined by the change in the condition of the surface and in the contribution of heterogeneous processes to the course of chain combustion have been described and systematised. Kinetic models taking account of the non-stationary nature of the surface and the non-unique nature of the stationary states of the system have been discussed. The bibliography contains 111 references
