Abstract:
The methods of synthesis and chemical properties of compounds containing the $>\!\!\overset{\overset{\mathrm{X}}{\parallel}}{\mathrm{P}}-(\mathrm{S})_n-(\mathrm{X}=\mathrm{O}\,\text{or}\,\mathrm{S}, n=2-4)$ fragment are examined. The unusual chemical behaviour of phosphorus-containing polysulphides in the reactions with nucleophiles and electrophiles is discussed.
