Abstract:
The methods of synthesis of substituted tertiary phosphines and the characteristic features of the mutual influence of the phosphino-group and the substituent, manifested in physicochemical properties (equilibrium between the conformers or stereoisomers, geometrical parameters of the molecules) and in the reactivity (pathways leading to the decomposition of phosphonium compounds, reactions of functional groups with electrophiles, nucleophilic substitution, tautomerism, rearrangements), are examined.
