Abstract:
The literature data on the conformational analysis of phosphoryl compounds containing one or several phosphorus-carbon bonds are analysed. Attention is concentrated to the steric orientation of the phosphoryl group and the substituents at the α-carbon atom. Data concerning different phase states of the compounds are discussed. The necessity for a combined application of various physicochemical methods to the solution of conformational problems involving complex phosphoryl compounds in solution is emphasised. The bibliography includes 121 references.
