Abstract: Chromatographic methods for the analysis of atmospheric pollutants, including the principal stages of the determination, from the sampling procedure to the evaluation of the results of the analysis, have been examined. The difficulties and limitations frequently encountered in the examination of the separate stages of the analysis and the various methods have been analysed. The review is based on work published in the period 1965–1978. The bibliography contains 398 references.
