Abstract:
The general aspects of the method for the identification and study of short-lived radicals in the liquid phase by EPR using spin-trapping agents are discussed and the available literature data for the application of the spin-trapping method to the study of short-lived chlorine- and sulphur-containing radicals and reactions involving them are surveyed. Certain methodological solutions, which make it possible to use the method in the study of complex radical reactions, are examined. The bibliography includes 91 references.
