Abstract: A systematic account is given of data (mainly for the period 1965–1975) on the coordination chemistry of the lanthanides: the synthetic, physicochemical, and structural aspects of lanthanide complexes, mainly with organic oxygen- and nitrogen-containing ligands are examined. Attention has been concentrated on the application of the physical and physicochemical research techniques in the chemistry of lanthanide complexes.
