Abstract:
The ring–chain isomeric (including tautomeric) transformations of hydroxy-, amino- and mercapto-derivatives of aldehydes, ketones, other carbonyl compounds, imines, hydrazones, and nitriles are examined. The effect of molecular structure and the structure of substituents at the interaction functional groups and also of external factors on the relative stabilities of the isomers and on the nature of the equilibrium has been analysed.
