Two aspects of penta-coordination in organometallic chemistry

J. Nasielski

Free University of Brussels, Belgium

Abstract: Penta-coordination is shown to be the basic concept underlying the physical and chemical properties of organotin compounds. The principles are outlined and applied to the synthesis, and to the static and dynamic stereochemistry of these compounds; they are now being extended to chromium complexes.
