The Synthesis and Properties of New Complex-forming Thiophen Derivatives

Abstract: The review deals with the methods of synthesis and properties of new heterocyclic ligands – mercaptoaldimine derivatives of thiophen, thienothiophen, and thionaphthene. Data on the preparation and certain reactions of metal chelate complexes of mercaptoaldimines are presented. The tautomerism and the ¹H NMR spectra of mercaptoaldimine derivatives of thiophen are discussed.
