Polarography of Benzenoid Aromatic Hydrocarbons

Abstract: This review summarises the results of the study of the reduction and oxidation in protogenic, aprotic, and strongly acidic solutions of benzenoid polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons whose molecules do not contain electrochemically active substituents. The characteristic features of the adsorption of aromatic hydrocarbons on mercury and various other metals are noted. The bibliography contains 167 references.
