Abstract:
A brief account is given of the main features of chemical reactions occurring in the stationary liquid phase in gas-chromatographic columns during the pulsed injection of the sample. Attention is paid mainly to the use of direct and indirect pulse methods of gas chromatography for determining the kinetic characteristics of reactions in the liquid phase. The advantages and limitations of these methods are analysed. A promising future is shown for the wide application of pulse gas-chromatographic methods for the experimental study of the kinetics of liquid-phase reactions. The bibliography contains 69 references.
