Abstract: The data on selective hydrogenation of unsaturated ketones and acetylene alcohols are analysed. The requirements for choosing selective catalytic systems are surveyed. The routes for the reduction of oxygen-containing compounds and factors affecting them are considered. The bibliography includes 177 references.
